Gift Of Innoventures Education (GIVE)

2014 marks the tenth anniversary of the founding of Innoventures Education. To mark the 10 years journey we are launching the Gift of Innoventures Education (GIVE) Foundation.

The GIVE Foundation is committed to bringing our community together to provide ongoing support to specific causes identified by our students. At Innoventures Education the most important thing we do for our children is to help them develop values and skills that they can rely on throughout their lives. This includes contributing to international and local communities. The students of Innoventures Education have chosen the GIVE Foundation focus to be on providing access to clean drinking water and education.

Millions of children around the world need help to break the never-ending cycle of poverty. Hunger weakens them. Unsafe drinking water makes them sick. Missing out on an education keeps them from reaching their potential. According to UNESCO (2012) 61 million children are out of school at the primary level, and 71 million at the lower secondary level.

Water is not confined to political borders, 85% of the world population lives in the driest half of the planet. Each individual deserves to have access to clean drinking water. According to UNESCO, 783 million people do not have access to clean water and almost 2.5 billion do not have access to adequate sanitation.

The organisations that the GIVE Foundation works with are The Aqua Initiative, Al Noor and World Vision that aim to provide education and clean drinking water for all.

The Aqua Initiative is a charity that works to provide access to clean drinking water and facilities for sanitation to every individual on Earth.

Al Noor aims to provide all individuals with special needs, regardless of background, the same opportunity through professional training and care to realise their potential and integrate into the wider community.

World Vision is dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice. Educating an individual is laying the foundation for a better future.
